2017 GMC Terrain SLT had the LT. Side Object Detection (SOD) Module replaced and needed to be programmed. Easy right? Unfortunately, initial diagnostic scans of the vehicle showed that the LT. and RT. SOD system was unread and the vehicle was "not-equipped" with this feature. We of course knew the vehicle had the feature and this video explains a very common problem that happens across these Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and how we resolved the connection issue occuring in order to perform the necessary programming.
