Here at Crown Collision Solutions we are challenging ourselves to break the typical mold of an automotive shop. We are founded based on the realization that the industry, as well as the world, is changing and we must adapt to our clients’ needs. In order to do that, we must provide an array of solutions to help our automotive counterparts which is what we strive to do.
We want to earn your trust by providing, as well as being, dependable and consistent business partners. Crown Collision Solutions believes in putting in the extra effort to keep our clients coming back for more.
No. Unless you have the proper machine and tools to calibrate your vehicle to proper original equipment manufacturer (OEM) standards you should not try to calibrate the systems. Many people think they can “trick” or “outsmart” the ADAS within the vehicle but you cannot take that risk. The last thing you want to do is to calibrate the vehicle improperly and be part of the reason why someone may be involved in an accident or collision.
The most common types of calibrations are front radar, front camera, surround view, blind spot, and rearview camera. Now for each type of calibration there can be both static or dynamic types of tests needed for the calibration to be complete. Static calibrations are done inside our shop in a controlled setting utilizing target boards, measurements, lasers, and other specialized equipment all while the car is parked inside. Dynamic calibrations are done while the car is in motion. This means for dynamic calibrations we bring our specialized tool inside the vehicle and drive the vehicle based on designated steps in order to complete calibration. Some vehicles may only require a static or a dynamic calibration while others require both.
We service most makes and models of vehicles. Please contact us before you stop by just to receive confirmation that we can service your vehicle and all of the potential cameras and sensors that may need calibration.
The Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) need to be calibrated whenever the following criteria applies:
Radars replaced or removed and installed
If you are unsure whether or not your vehicle needs calibration please contact us directly at 508-443-2134 or office@crowncollisionsolutions.com
Quite simply, it can save lives! The biggest reason to get your vehicle calibrated is because it keeps you and those around you safe. Having the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) working properly in your vehicle helps the driver eliminate accidents or mishaps on the road.
The ADAS features operate under extremely precise and exact measurements that provide the vision for the systems to function properly. Cameras or sensors only a few degrees out of the recommended measurements can cause the ADAS features to operate incorrectly and may lead to an accident or collision that could have been avoided.
ADAS Calibrations are also key following collision and accident repairs as a means to verify and confirm repairs were done correctly
There are multiple benefits to choosing Crown Collision Solutions. Unlike dealerships who offer a number of services, we strictly service calibrations meaning all our time and energy is placed into getting your vehicle calibrated in a timely manner so you aren’t waiting days to receive it back.
Our calibration facility uses a new state of the art Original Equipment Tier 1 Manufacturer calibration machine. Some dealerships may use a more manual calibration technique that can take a longer time to calibrate a vehicle. Here at Crown Collison Solutions we wanted to reduce how long our customers have to wait to receive their vehicle back and utilize one of the newest calibration options available.
While dealerships are mostly restricted in only servicing the vehicle manufacturers they make and sell, we are not. We can service most makes and models.
